    2007 - Launch of the Tableonline Website

    The 1st French Restaurant Directory that offers online booking.

    Customer booking habits change, the challenge is launched : bring new technologies in the restaurants.

  • 2010

    2010 - Opening of TableOnline Finland

    The Scandinavian market, a true laboratory to improve our technology. The directory is successfully deployed by a local team, where the online booking market is already mature.

  • 2011

    2011 - First version of Guestonline

    Independent online booking is at the heart of the strategy. A lot of digital specialists get interested in the fabulous potential of online booking. To prevent restaurateurs from becoming dependent on aggregators, TableOnline creates Guestonline : the restaurateur can now allow his clients to book online directly from his own Website, without commission.

  • 2012

    2012 - Launch of Guestonline on iPad

    The first reservation book on iPad. A restaurant booking diary must be easy to use, performing, secure. To answer these constraints, TableOnline has launched the first iPad app on the market dedicated to restaurateurs.

  • 2014

    2014 - Closing of the TableOnline directory

    The challenge launched in 2007 is won ! Online booking is now widely used by restaurateurs and clients. Booking volumes explode. It is time for restaurateurs to take in charge their digital transition. The TableOnline directory closes. Today, GuestOnline offers restaurateurs a tool to defend their independence and retain their clients, without relying  on a directory, an aggregator or special offers.

  • 2015

    2015 - The property of client database

    Improve customer service thanks to customer knowledge. The French people have adopted online booking but a restaurateur also needs to know his clients and retain them. He needs a qualified client database for that. Guestonline allows restaurateurs to create a customer database of which they remain the sole owners.

  • 2016

    2016 - Big names enter the TableOnline capital

    The Guestonline technology in the stars. Guestonline users up until then, the Maison Bras and la Tour d’Argent joined other private investors in the Capital of TableOnline. The objective is to assert Guestonline’s technological edge and develop international growth.


    A new logo

    A new logo for Guestonline. Guestonline dynamizes its image : the logo evolves to symbolize our walk alongside restaurateurs. To improve visibility, TableOnline and Guestonline merge under the Guestonline name.

  • 2017

    2017 - Guestonline in the Bocuse Group

    To optimise client reception and its booking management, the Bocuse Group chooses Guestonline. Already a user of the Guestonline technology to manage the bookings of all its restaurants including the Auberge Du Pont de Collonges, the Bocuse Group chooses to invest in Guestonline.


    Optimisation of Guestonline on iPad

    The restaurateurs needs evolve as well as their use of digital tools. The Guestonline app is entirely reviewed and now has new functionalities (full table management with graphical floor plan, etc.)


    The eChefs movement 

    Client experience is at the heart of restaurateurs’ strategy. Supported by Sébastien Bras, André Terrail (Tour d’Argent), Paul Maurice Morel (Bocuse Group) and Caroline Savoy (Restaurant (V)ivre), Guestonline launches the eChefs movement to help the profession enter a digital transition while keeping its independence and controling its costs.
